Aerosian Units
|
|
The Aerosian military focuses around its powerful airforce. Their armor divisions are mainly used to clean up an enemy
after their base has been bombed, and are rarely seen as a major threat. However, the Aerosian government has recently put a large
amount of money into their artillery systems, hoping they will be able to soften up enemy forces before they get close enough
to fire.
 |
| T1D3 Dragon Tank |
Cost: 1300 |
Defcon Level: 3 |
| The T1D3 Dragon is the backbone
of the aging Aerosian ground forces. While effective use of these tanks
is not impossible, they should generally be only used in missions with
light resistance. |
 |
| T7X Concussion Tank |
Cost: 1200 |
Defcon Level: 4 |
| One of the more recent developments
by Aerosian ground engineers, the Concussion Tank fires a volley of
concussion rockets that shake the ground, heavily damaging stuctures
and infantry. However, tanks seem to be able to withstand this blast easily. |
 |
| Razor humvee |
Cost: 1000 |
Defcon Level: 4 |
| A humvee mounted with an anti air rocket cannon, the Razor
can track and destroy enemy air units efficiently. The missiles can also hit ground targets, but are much weaker and
more innaccurate. |
 |
| T89B Hammer Howitzer |
Cost: 1900 |
Defcon Level: 3 |
| The T89B Hammer can deliver explosive ordinance from miles away. It uses
a sophisticated satellite uplink that helps it track its target from long range, allowing for pressure to be applied
to an enemy camp from safe distances. Several of these should always be supporting your ground forces. |
 |
| T70 Liberty MLRS |
Cost: 2000 |
Defcon Level: 3 |
| The T70 is a dominant battlefield force. With its 10 high explosive
rocket volleys it can lay waste to nearly anything. Accuracy plagues the Liberty MLRS however, it has no technological
guidance systems for its rockets, which tends to cause large amounts of collateral damage, something especially danegrous when
friendly and enemy tanks are mixed in together in a land skirmish. |
 |
| B-3 Defiant |
Cost: 2300 |
Defcon Level: 2 |
| The Defiant is the pride of the Aerosian bomber fleet. It can pass by
enemy defenses with ease due to its stealth abilities, and has a very heavy payload for a light bomber. Since they came
into service in 3490, none have been shot down, and they have accounted for more than 120 successful aerial operations. |
 |
| F-17 Hawk |
Cost: 2000 |
Defcon Level: 2 |
| The F-17 Hawk is the perfect balance of speed and firepower. With 6 long range
guided missiles, it can easily destroy any enemy aircraft or ground defense. It has been called everything from "a modern
engineering marvel"(Aerospace Analysis Magazine) to "so freakin' fun to fly." (Various Aerosian pilots). With a supercruise of
mach 2.8, thrust vectoring, and BVR launch capabilities, the Hawk is next to impossible to destroy. |
 |
| Rifleman |
Cost: 100 |
Defcon Level: 5 |
| The standard infantry soldier for Aerosia, the rifleman can keep enemy infantry pinned
down with its rapid rate of fire. Groups of these are lethal to enemy troops, but watch out for heavy armor. |
 |
| Rocket Trooper |
Cost: 200 |
Defcon Level: 5 |
| The rocket trooper is Aerosia's anti-tank infantry. They are still susceptible to
attacks from armor, but if a group of these manages to flank a tank column, they can be well worth their value. Be careful of
machine gun armed infantry, however. The Rocket Trooper's slow rate of fire can get them killed easily by a quicker opponent. |
