Ebres Unit Data
|
|
The Ebres land forces are the strength of their military. With their three different tanks, powerful IFV, and Laser Support Vehicle,
Ebres commanders always have an edge in ground combat. Funding for aircraft was heavily cut before the war, as the Ebres government
knew they would have to hold territory, and armor was the best way to do that.
 |
| V6A7 Jaguar Tank |
Cost: 1500 |
Defcon Level: 3 |
| The recently developed Jaguar tank is the main battle tank
of the Republic of Ebres. With heavy armor and a 150mm cannon, it is a force on the battlefield. A large blitz of these
can leave a city in ruins in a relatively short time, as seen at Aerosian Flagtran Air Force Base at the start of the war. |
 |
| V10C Puma |
Cost: 1200 |
Defcon Level: 4 |
| A light tank designed to take care of faster vehicles, the Puma is used to
round out an attack force. It has light armor and a light gun, but its speed and agility more than make up for these shortcomings.
When used effectively, a Puma division should scout ahead and flank a heavier armor division, to guard against faster enemy units
attempting hit and run tactics. |
 |
| V75B Raider Tank |
Cost: 1800 |
Defcon Level: 3 |
| The Raider was developed with the intention of pounding through enemy
lines, but it has since developed into a tank to tank combat role. The most powerful vehicle available to either side, the
Raider packs a massive 175mm cannon, with reinforced heavy armor, and fires depleted uranium shells. Nothing can win a one on
one battle with a Raider, and since they've come into service none have been destroyed. |
 |
| V55 Ranger Howitzer |
Cost: 1800 |
Defcon Level: 3 |
| While not quite as effective as its Aerosian counterpart, the Ranger
is still a valuable weapon for supporting fire. Its main drawback is the lack of an autoloader, which means much slower
rates of fire. |
 |
| Laser Support Unit |
Cost: 1200 |
Defcon Level: 3 |
| While not an offensive unit in the conventional sense, the LSU is one of the most
effective vehicles on the battlefield. It uses a state-of-the-art missile tracking system to aim at incoming rockets. Then,
it disperses a laser pulse, which shoots down the rocket, rendering it harmless. The LSU has proven invaluable since the start of
the war by shooting down Aerosian aircraft's missiles, which has minimized air based casualties. |
 |
| F/B-13 Storm |
Cost: 1900 |
Defcon Level: 2 |
| When the Storm went into production, Ebres engineers declared it would be able
to shoot down an F-17 Hawk. The engineers assumed this statement would never be disproved, because of their governments political
resolutions to all possible conflicts. As the Aerosian-Ebres war began to unfold, the F/B-13s were being shot down all
over, and accounted for almost half of the war casualties. It has since been recalled from air combat duties, and is now
only a support fighter. |
 |
| V22 Grizzly IFV |
Cost: 1100 |
Defcon Level: 4 |
| The Grizzly IFV is a multipurpose unit, capable of transport and assault missions.
With a powerful flak cannon, it can kill infantry with ease and even destroy lighly armored vehicles. The V22 has room for
4 infantry inside, who can be almost guaranteed making it to their destination because of the Grizzly's heavy armor and speed. |
